SOUTHERN PICKLEBALL
TEAM LEAGUES

With the help of Coca-Cola, the Southern Pickleball Association is planning 5 team tournaments over the next 5 months. The schedule is printed below. Each event will be live-streamed on Southern Pickleball TV and medalists will advance to the Southern Pickleball Team Championships in January 2024.

• August 19th – Atlanta Pickleball Center
• September 16th – Rome, GA
• October 14th – Macon, GA
• November 18th – Valdosta, GA
• December 2nd – TBD

Teams are made up of at least 2 men and 2 women players. Teams play a seeding round-robin against every other team in their bracket. Each match consists of a men's doubles game, a women's doubles game, and two mixed doubles games. After the round-robin, teams are seeded and the top two teams play for gold while the 3rd and 4th place teams play for bronze. Medal matches are similar to round-robin play but a Team Maker tie-breaker is played if the game totals are tied 2-2.

Teams can also qualify for January's Southern Team Championships by winning their local Southern Pickleball Team League Season. If your local club would like information on how to get a team league started in your area, contact info@southernpickleball.com.
