WHERE WE BEGAN
Southern Pickleball's roots start in Georgia. In 2021, the Georgia Pickleball Association (GPA) started running tournaments around the state. Players seemed to appreciate reasonably priced, well-run tournaments where they didn't have to travel too far. As players from outside of Georgia started asking for GPA to come into their states, the idea of the Southern Pickleball Association grew.

The Southern Pickleball Association is committed to expanding pickleball opportunities in the southeast by providing reasonably priced and well-run events and supporting community pickleball clubs.
