Southern Pickleball Association's roots start in Georgia. In 2021, the Georgia Pickleball Association (GPA) started running tournaments around the state. Players appreciated our reasonably priced and well-run tournaments. As players, municipalities, and sports tourism departments from outside of Georgia started asking for GPA to come into their states, the idea of Southern Pickleball grew. Today, Southern Pickleball remains committed to expanding pickleball opportunities in the southeast by providing reasonably priced and well-run events and supporting community pickleball clubs. 

Southern Pickleball is dedicated to growing the sport by creating affordable, well-organized tournaments that prioritize the amateur player while also supporting local pickleball communities.

Just as the SEC has expanded beyond the South, Southern Pickleball has done the same—bringing its signature southern hospitality and high-quality events to players across 10 states, including Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
