Major Tournaments (Level 1 Events) are the highest tier of competitive events within Southern Pickleball’s organization. These tournaments are exclusively hosted, managed, and operated by Southern Pickleball. Medal winners at major tournaments will receive TRIPLE points towards their Southern Pickleball player rankings in addition to qualifying for the Southern Pickleball Championships.

Premiere Tournaments (Level 2 Events) are Southern Pickleball-run or sanctioned events that consistently deliver strong participation, competitive match play, and excellent organizations. Medal winners at premiere tournaments earn DOUBLE points towards their Southern Pickleball player rankings, in addition to qualifying for the Southern Pickleball Championships.

Qualifier Tournaments (Level 3 Events) are the foundation of Southern Pickleball, as we built our pickleball community through grassroots competition. These events may be hosted by Southern Pickleball or by Southern Pickleball approved clubs and organizations. If you medal in a qualifier tournament you will still receive points towards your Southern Pickleball player rankings and qualify for the Southern Pickleball Championships.
